Terms and Conditions

Cutting Edge Tree and Stump Services – Adelaide, SA

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Cutting Edge Tree and Stump Services (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our services, the customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to the following:

1. Services Provided

We offer professional tree and stump services, including:

• Tree removal
• Pruning and trimming
• Stump grinding and removal
• Green waste removal
• Emergency tree works

A detailed scope of work will be provided in writing (quotation or invoice) before services commence.

2. Quotations and Pricing

• All quotations are free and valid for 30 days.
• Prices are based on the information provided at the time of the quote. Additional charges may apply if:
  • Access is restricted or changed.
  • Additional work is requested.
  • Unforeseen hazards (e.g., hidden metal, concrete, underground services) are encountered.

3. Access and Site Conditions

• You must ensure safe and reasonable access to the work site.
• We accept no responsibility for damage to underground services (e.g., pipes, cables, irrigation) unless their locations are clearly advised in writing beforehand.
• While we take all care to avoid damage to lawns, gardens, driveways, or structures, you acknowledge that some disturbance may occur when working with heavy equipment.

4. Safety

• Safety is our highest priority.
• Work will be carried out in accordance with South Australian Work Health and Safety Regulations.
• If conditions are deemed unsafe (e.g., severe weather, unstable trees, electrical hazards), work may be postponed until safe to proceed.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept payment by bank transfer, cash, or other agreed methods.
• Late payments may attract an administration fee and recovery costs.

6. Cancellation Policy

• If you wish to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee to cover lost time and scheduling costs.

7. Waste Removal

• Green waste and debris will be removed from site unless otherwise agreed.
• If you wish to keep mulch, wood, or logs, please advise us prior to commencement of work.

8. Liability

• We are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance.
• We accept no liability for:
  • Damage caused by pre-existing defects, weaknesses, or decay in trees.
  • Damage to underground services not disclosed prior to works.
  • Natural events outside our control (e.g., storm damage after works).

9. Complaints and Disputes

• Any concerns should be raised within 7 days of service completion.
• We will make all reasonable efforts to resolve disputes promptly and fairly.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South Australian courts.
